Committed to the Community
As owner of Shasta Driving School, I am committed to improving our community and making it a safer place to live.
I enjoy volunteering with various safety groups throughout the community. These are great opportunities for me to give back to the very community that has supported me and my business over the years. I have volunteered statewide as well in the Driving School Association of California. As a board member and the Northern Vice President I've assisted in producing continuing education seminars and helped pass bills in Sacramento to strengthen the driving school industry and make our streets a safer place to drive. I often attend safety trainings and seminars on various traffic safety issues to keep abreast of new trends and the latest information in this industry.
Personally I'm an outdoor person and an automotive enthusiast. The north state is a wonderful place to live and I especially enjoy fly fishing, backpacking, cycling, paddling and spending time with family. I've always enjoyed cars over the years and my latest hobby has me spending time in my Subaru WRX STi rally car. I often go to Thunderhill Raceway in Willows and attend driving school! In-fact I've spent so much time at the race track at Thunder hill I became certified as an instructor with their High Performance Driving Experience and the Hooked On Driving events. I also instruct advance driving at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma and Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca through Hooked on Driving.
